Training Manager Creative Strategy

ISART and Excelia Business School are offering a unique Master’s degree in France, combining management expertise and creative innovation.

The Master’s in Creative Strategy Management offers a two-year course focusing on marketing, communication and management applied to video games.
Based on real cases from the video game industry, renowned for its creativity, the programme develops skills in creative strategy, from the idea to the production of the video game product.
Students learn how to manage multi-disciplinary video game development teams, monitor the progress of projects and their performance with the public, and design the editorial and marketing strategy for a product launch.

Through projects, a final year project and practical experience in a company, they master the entire process of creating and marketing a digital product.
Students are prepared to define strategic product and market orientations, master the production chain (from ideation to marketing) and collaborate effectively in a variety of professional contexts in the video game and innovative digital product sectors.

    • 1st year: courses take place on the Excelia Business School Paris Cachan campus, in French and on a full-time basis
    • 2nd year: courses take place at ISART Paris, in French and on an alternating basis, or at ISART Nice, in English and on a full-time basis

A minimum of 3 years’ higher education is required to enter the Master’s program. Candidates undergoing professional retraining are also welcome.

The entrance exams consist of a portfolio, an interview and written tests.

It is possible to enter :

  • the 1st year at Excelia Business School Paris Cachan (and prepare for the ISART / Excelia Business School double diploma)
  • the 2nd year directly at ISART Paris or Nice (and prepare for the ISART diploma)

Pedagogical objectives

Acquire the managerial and methodological skills needed to support a development team in the production of a video game and coordinate the various parties involved:

  • Master the video game production chain, from the initial idea (pitch, concept) to the final sale (date, marketing, communication, monetisation, financing).
  • Master all the production phases: concept, pre-production, production, debugging, etc.

Teaching aids

  • Theoretical and practical teaching: lectures, applied exercises, practical work, tutorials, etc.
  • Project production: monitoring and supervision by teachers during the completion of projects (year project, final year project)

Assessment procedures

  • Continuous assessment (case studies, simulations, presentations, demonstrations)
  • Project presentations (year project, final year project) before a school jury or a professional jury
  • Written and oral assessments in English
  • Writing and defending a professional experience report
      • 1st year: full-time internship
      • 2nd year on the ISART Paris campus: alternating internship
      or
      • 2nd year on the ISART Nice campus: full-time internship
  • At the end of the two-year Master’s program, students obtain a double diploma:

    • RNCP level 7 “Manager in Creative Strategy/Producer”, awarded by ISART Digital
    • Level 7 Master’s degree from the Grande École Program, awarded by Excelia Business School

     

    Students who enter the M2 program directly are awarded :

    • The RNCP level 7 title “Manager in Creative Strategy/Producer”, awarded by ISART Digital.
